Taptam defeated heavily favored Euphony on a sloppy track at Oaklawn Saturday to claim the 2010 Pippin Staakes for trainer Bret Calhoun and owners Sanders and  Hirsch.  Under urging from jockey Corey Nakatani, Taptam came back after being passed by Euphony in the upper part of the stretch. The winning time in the 1 1/16 mile race was 1:46 4/5.
